COVID-19 AND YOUR WEDDING
Hopefully things will continue to be ‘normal’ and there are no more restrictions or lockdowns to come! As a few of you are still to rebook your postponed date I’ve kept the 2022 dates updated however please get in touch before booking so I can confirm I’m available.
In the meantime please get in touch if you have any questions about anything or scroll down for more info on how I imagine things will work once we’re allowed to celebrate weddings again. WHAT If I become infected with Coronavirus or have to self isolate.
I will follow the government guidelines by self-isolating and I will be unable to shoot your wedding. Your health, and the health of your guests, is of the utmost importance and I don’t want to put anyone at risk of infection.
To be prepared, I have joined up with a small group of wedding photographer friends (who are all of a similar style to me) and one of them would cover your wedding if needed. In the event that this happens, I would inform you immediately and, circumstances allowing, arrange an online meeting between me, the back up photographer and you, to go through the plans for your wedding. Your wedding would be photographed exactly as I would do so. I would then edit the photographs from the back up photographer and deliver your final images as normal.

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE HAVE TO POSTPONE OUR WEDDING DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS?
Whether a postponement comes about because of your own decision or because of a forced restriction it’s heartbreaking. Over the last year I’ve been speaking to 2020 couples who have nearly all been in this position and it’s hugely emotional. The one thing that has kept them all going is reminding themselves it’s a postponement not a cancellation. Your wedding will still happen and it is going to be BRILLIANT!
When it comes to a postponement then communication is key here!
Please let me know as soon as possible if you are thinking of doing this. I am more than happy to move your wedding booking to your new wedding date (if I am available). I really want to shoot your wedding – so please do check on my availability if you are considering this.
